At The Dog Zone our staff has the experience and love for your dog that you will not find anywhere else, caring for dogs is our passion.

Our staff is also involved with Cedar Valley Humane Society, Marion K9 Fun Run and Walk and The Dog Zone Tree Of Giving and Aiming For A Cure. Check out the staff bio's below.

Hi, I’m Marissa and I am the owner here at The Dog Zone. I started at The Dog Zone back in 2020 as assistant manager, quickly moving to manager and July of 2025 I took over ownership and could not be any prouder and excited for our future. I have always had a passion for animals and because of that I have experience in grooming, veterinary care, boarding and daycare. When the opportunity came to become owner, it felt like a no brainer. With a pack of my own at home, and a pack here at daycare, I honestly couldn’t imagine a day without a pack of pups around me. I aspire to make The Dog Zone feel like a second home for every dog who walks through our doors. I look forward to meeting you and your 4 legged kiddos.

. Brianna Hello, my name is Brianna. Working with dogs has been a lifelong ambition, and I’m delighted to have achieved that. As a dog owner myself, with three dogs named Max, Arlo, and Arizona. I recognize the value of socialization and enjoy seeing them thrive at The Dog Zone. I feel fortunate to share my passion for dogs with both the animals in our care and my exceptional colleagues. Outside of work, I enjoy hiking with my dogs and spending time with my son Weston and husband.

Hello, my name is Hayley! My entire life I have been surrounded by furry friends so it really feels fitting to be working and playing with your pups! In the future I plan to get my certificate to train dogs, cats and service animals. In my free time I like to explore new places and be outdoors!

Hi, I’m Cameron! I’ve always had a deep love for animals, and I’m lucky to spend every day surrounded by them. I share my home with a happy pup, a couple curious cats and even some snakes—so I’m no stranger to the care and attention animals need to thrive. Working with animals is a dream come true. I take pride in earning their trust and making sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for. Whether it’s playtime, naptime, or just a good belly rub, I’m here to make sure every dog has a great day. I’m so glad to be part of a team that treats every pup like family

Darianne Hello! My name is Darianne (pronounced like Darian) and I have been with The Dog Zone since late summer of 2024. I’ve spent my entire life around all types of dogs ranging from cattle herding Jack Russell Terriers to Great Danes, and I’m very fortunate to call a sweet rescue mix and a corgi my babies. I love all the kids here as if they were my own but I have a definite soft spot for the seniors and giants! When I’m not at The Dog Zone, you can find me with my nose in a book, playing PC games, napping with my corgi, or cooking tasty treats.

Hi, My name is Tinley and I am a true dog lover. I have three dogs and a cat and I’m one of those people who will always ask if I can pet your dog if I see you out in public. I love working with all of the dogs at The Dog Zone! In my spare time you will see me hanging with my mom, boyfriend or cuddling my dogs.
